hello world

I’m Armaan Khanna, a visual storyteller — born in the vibrant city of Chandigarh, shaped by the stillness of Calgary, and still becoming who I’m meant to be.

This isn’t just a website.
It’s a mirror.

A reflection of a 21-year-old soul still learning how to be seen without performing.
Still learning how to love without losing.
Still trying to build something that feels real.

On my 14th birthday, my dad gave me a DSLR.
I didn’t know it then, but that camera would become my way of understanding the world.

I grew up in the noise — pressure, expectations, tradition.
But beneath it all, there was always a quiet voice asking deeper questions:
Who am I, really? Why am I here? What makes something meaningful?

That voice led me across oceans.
It brought me to Calgary — to solitude, to struggle, and to stories waiting to be told.

I’ve always felt things a little deeper than most.
India was loud, vivid, full of motion.
Canada gave me silence, space, and the room to grow on my own terms.

Both places shaped me.
One taught me how to connect.
The other taught me how to reflect.
And together, they’ve helped me tell better stories.

I studied photojournalism at SAIT, but the real lessons came from life.

I don’t shoot to impress. I shoot to feel.
To capture what words can’t.
To help people feel a little more seen, a little more understood.

This site isn’t just a portfolio.
It’s a journal of moments that shaped me.

Maybe one of them will matter to you, too.

Thanks for being here.
